Philip Simmons has been a proud member of the Atlantic Animal Hospital team since February 2008. He currently works as a Client Advocate and a Veterinary Assistant. He reports what he loves most about working at Atlantic Animal Hospital is being part of our team as a whole and being able to represent our cause as medical providers to all companion animals. Although originally from Gillingham, Kent, England, his family relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, and Philip recently moved to the Daytona area in January 2008.
Philip's educational background is in Ancient History and Paleolinguistics from Kennesaw State University. In his spare time, Philip enjoys listening to music of all kinds and playing guitar and percussion. He also enjoys spending quality time with his dog Karma, and two cats, Narcissus and Goldman. Karma is a German Shepard mixed breed dog, who was found by Philip as an abandoned puppy when he was only five weeks old. Also rescued by Philip, Narcissus and Goldman were found as kittens at a young age.
